American records is Rubin's imprint on Columbia Records, and it was Rubin who famously worked with Johnny Cash in his later years, producing 4 of Cash's last records. In 2003 <em>The Man Comes Around</em> won a grammy for Best Male Country Vocal Performance. Rubin's track record goes on for days.
